Abstract:

The effectiveness, predictability and security of small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) on the correction of myopia have approved for clinicans after many years of usage. However, the correction of astigmatism was not as good as that of myopia with the corneal refractive surgeries, including SMILE. With the improvement of surgical techniques, methods and devices, the correction of astigmatism and myopic astigmatism with SMILE has recently changed.

Key words: Small incision lenticule extraction, Myopia, Astigmatism
