Abstract:

Human leukocyte antigen (HLA), also known as human major histocompatibility complex. Its classification method has gone through the development of serological typing, cell classification and DNA typing. At present, the DNA typing method is the main HLA typing method, and it has gradually replaced the trend of the other two types of typing detection methods. In addition, many scholars at home and abroad have found that HLA is associated with a variety of diseases. Among them, reports on the correlation between eye diseases and HLA are emerging one after another, especially in the study of uveitis. Therefore, this article intends to review the correlation between HLA typing and ocular diseases.

Key words: Human leukocyte antigen, Uveitis, Behcet's disease, Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome
