Pay attention to the value of pathology in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular tumors and orbital diseases

Abstract:

Pathology is very important to study deeply and understand the pathogenesis, occurrence and development of ocular tumors and orbitopathy, which can provide the objective evidence for the diagnosis, differential diagnosis of ocular tumors and orbital diseases, the formulation of personalized treatment plans, monitoring and evaluating of disease changes and prognosis. Thus, pathology plays indispensable role in mentioned above. Based on the relevant literature of the diagnosis and treatment of ocular tumors and orbital diseases and the author′s clinical experience in the application of pathological detection for years, the practical value of pathological detection in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular tumors and orbital diseases was summarized, which is hopeful for ophthalmologists to pay attention to the value of pathology in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular tumors and orbital diseases.
