Computer guided femtosecond laser cataract surgery system can realize accurate clear corrleal incision and limbal relaxing incision, perfect capsulorhexis and laser-assisted pre chop, so as to achieve best optimized effective intraocular lens position and refractive status, which greatly improves the accuracy, efficacy and safety of cataract surgery recognized and promoted by clinicians. The transformation rate of the surgery increased in recent years, and at present, researchers′ attention has been focused more on its advantages and disadvantages, safety, effectiveness and new applications in complex cases. The present article reviewed the recent progress of femtosecond laser cataract surgery and several issues of concern which should be paid attention.
